Brian McClure. AIPF; DPAGB; LRPS; EFIAP; BPE5*
My photographic journey only started upon retirement in 2010, when shortly thereafter I joined Catchlight CC eventually becoming its Chairman. Subsequently I joined Drogheda Photographic Club in 2021.
It is a great pleasure to be a member of DPC as it excels not only in its professional and competitive prowess but more importantly in its open welcome and camaraderie, it can truly be called a Community Club. It is an ongoing pleasure to see the wonderful work of all our members; my wish would be that perhaps my efforts give some inspiration to others.
My interest is in all genres of photography but especially portraiture and the subsequent chance to create interesting composites. I have a fascination for aircraft photography both in the air and from the ground. Entering competitive salons at both National and International level, gives me great satisfaction, as it is here one’s work can be assessed against the very best.
I am also a member of CPA CC in Belfast and continue to judge on the NIPA circuit in Northern Ireland
