Photographer of the Year Competition Rules
1. Maximum of 5 entries from fully paid up members in each section of Black & White / Monochrome Prints. Colour Prints. Slides / Digital Images2. No entry fee. 3. Copies of artists or other photographer’s work not accepted. 4. Prints/Slides/Digital Images entered in previous club competitions not accepted. 5. Black &White / Monochrome Prints and Colour Prints may be made from Slides / Digital Images not entered in previous Club competitions 6. An image may be entered once in one format only i.e. a colour print or mono print or digital projected image. 7. All Prints must be mounted. Maximum mount size 20 inches x 16 inches. 8. Prints must not be framed. 9. Each entry must carry the name and club number of the competitor. 10. Competitions will be judged on the date posted in the programme and the judge’s decision will be final. 11. Competitions may be judged by Club member(s) if a judge fails to appear. 12. Judges will be selected by the Committee and may include Club members. 13. Each entry will be marked out of 20. Competitor’s three highest scores will be added to decide the overall winner. In the event of a tied vote on the night, judge will select winner. 14. Entries will be accepted on the date posted and may not be removed until the end of the competition. 15. Similar images by the same photographer may not be used more than once. Acceptance or otherwise is at the discretion of the Competition Secretary. 16. Acceptance of the rules is a condition of entry.
